Today In Black History - The Nat King Cole Show

On this date in 1956 Nat King Cole hosted the first Nat King Cole Show which made him the first major black performer to host a network variety series. The Nat "King" Cole Show, premiered on NBC as a fifteen-minute weekly musical variety show.
