Finally Peace In Sudan
Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir's government will be signing a agreement for a cease-fire with rebels in Sudan's volatile Darfur region. Because of the fighting in this country an estimated 2.7 million people fled their homes and became refugees in their own land. After this first agreement there is suppose to be a permanent cease-fire which is to be signed before March 15 by both parties as well. In the past seven years of this fighting, more than 300,000 people have been killed through direct combat, disease or malnutrition.
