Happy Independence Day Equatorial Guinea

On this date in 1968 the Republic of Equatorial Guinea gained its independence from its colonial ruler Spain under its first elected president Francisco Macías Nguema. Equatorial Guinea is the third smallest country in Africa population wise. It is also the second smallest United Nations member from continental Africa. Spanish and French are the nation's national languages
