Aug 30 - Sept 5 Is Proclaimed "National HBCU Week" By President Obama

Earlier this week President Barack Obama made a proclamation that the week of August 30th to September 5th would be national HBCU week. He called up all public officials, educators, and all the people of the United States to observe this week with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities that acknowledge the tremendous contributions these institutions and their graduates have made to our country.
